TERMS OF SERVICE
1. Services Overview
Starlink Installation Techs LLC provides professional Starlink and IT network-related installation and support services to Starlink LEO satellite broadband customers and the general public (Customers). Our services include:
Installation consultations
Wired and wireless network design
Project planning and management
Equipment installation, including dish mounting, low-voltage data cable installation, router and wireless access point configuration
Documentation of work performed
Verification that all installed systems operate as designed
2. Acceptance of Terms
By engaging or using the services offered by Starlink Installation Techs LLC, Customers acknowledge and agree to these Terms of Service in full. If a Customer does not agree to these Terms of Service, they must notify Starlink Installation Techs LLC, as we reserve the right to refuse service.
3. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
Ensuring all installation parts they supply are onsite before confirming the installation appointment.
Providing accurate and truthful information to our support personnel regarding their service request.
Preparing the installation site with necessary power sources, an area with a clear view of the sky, and adequate accessibility.
4. Payment Terms
Payment details, including fees, accepted payment methods, and deadlines, will be specified in your quote. A deposit of approximately 45% of the total cost is required to secure the appointment, with the remaining balance due upon receipt of the final invoice. Additional charges may apply for unique installation needs, such as lift rentals or specialized equipment.
5.Cancellation, Rescheduling, and Refunds
To qualify for a full refund, cancellations must be made within the designated time frame before the scheduled installation. Cancellations made outside this window may incur a fee, which will be detailed at the time of booking. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made on the day of service.
Jobs canceled or rescheduled within 24 hours of the appointment will incur a cancellation/rescheduling fee outlined in your quote. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made on the day of service.
6. Service Warranties and Limitations of Liability
Installation services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Customers must accept the work as completed before the technician departs. Additional visits will incur service call fees, determined at the time of the request. Starlink Installation Techs LLC does not guarantee Starlink ISP service and is not liable for any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:
Property damage during installation
Weather interruptions
Service disruptions or delays caused by Starlink support or other third parties
In cases where no technician is available in the Customer’s area, Starlink Installation Techs LLC may hire a third-party contractor to perform the installation. The Customer acknowledges and agrees to release Starlink Installation Techs LLC from liability for any incidents occurring on their property during the installation. This includes, but is not limited to, property damage or injuries sustained by the third-party contractor while performing the installation. By accepting these terms, the Customer fully waives all legal claims related to such events.
7. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failures in service resulting from events beyond our control, such as extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, labor disputes, or other unforeseen circumstances.
8. Changes to Terms
Starlink Installation Techs reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be communicated to customers, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
9. Equipment Responsibility
Customers are responsible for the proper use and care of Starlink equipment after installation. Damage caused by improper handling, moving, or interference post-installation is the sole responsibility of the customer.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the state in which services are provided, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
11. Privacy Policy
Your personal data, including contact information and service details, will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which protects your information from unauthorized access and misuse.
12. HOA (Homeowner’s Associations)
It is the Customer’s responsibility to secure permission from their HOA for any outdoor, rooftop, or building-affixed installation. If an installation cannot be completed due to HOA restrictions, the Customer forfeits 100% of their deposit, and the service request work order will be closed. The Customer may reschedule after resolving HOA conflicts. Starlink Installation Techs LLC is not responsible for HOA conflicts or restrictions. Customers are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the OTARD (Over-the-Air Reception Devices) rule.
13. Termination of Services
Starlink Installation Techs reserves the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or terminate installations at any time if there is a breach of these terms, failure to pay, or unsafe conditions at the installation site.
